THE COOPERATIVE INSTITUTE IS FORMED THROUGH A NATIONAL CONSORTIUM OF ACADEMIC, NON-PROFIT AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS WITH LEADERSHIP FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND, COLLEGE PARK (UMCP) AND THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA (UNC) SYSTEM.
